As Fran waited in the car, she thought about how green Blue was with reference to “the life.” He didn’t know how these slick back motherfuckers worked. They were ruthless. Even though Blue was cold to her, she didn’t want anything to happen to him. Fran checked her watch and decided to get out and make sure everything was alright.

She told one of Havey’s men that she needed to use the bathroom. As they escorted her through the mansion’s halls, she heard a pop, pop sound. She had been around killing long enough to know gunfire when she heard it.

She spun around and pulled the trigger of her thigh holster, shooting her escort without lifting her dress or removing the gun. Fran knew he would instantly kill her and ask questions later so she had to kill him first. She then raced throughout the house looking for Blue.

She spotted Tree’s hump back halfway out in the hallway and suspected that things did not go according to plan. She shot what looked like Tree’s assassin as he began to talk to Caldorone. She then entered the room and saw Caldarone around his desk.

“Hold it, motherfucker! Stop right there or I’ll take you out.” Fran did not look like herself anymore. She had an animalistic appearance about her as she aimed in on Caldarone’s head. She bent down and grabbed Tree’s gun and tossed it to Blue. He grabbed the gun and pulled the hammer back.

Time was running out. Places like this always had men like soldiers coming out of the woodworks. They had to get out of there. As if reading her mind, Caldarone began to taunt. “You will never make it out.”

“Pull the trigger, pull the trigger now!” Boom! The first shot entered the man’s face and exited through the back of his head. Gray matter from his brain and skull fragments splattered on the winter white wall behind him. Boom! The second shot entered the man’s heart causing the remnants of his headless body to fall forward and ooze a puddle of dark blood surrounding him. Boom! The third and final shot was to the man’s lifeless body to end the quivering that precedes sudden and violent death. In a matter of three seconds, James “Blue” Jackson could now add murderer to his resume.

Shaking with a mixture of fear and excitement, Blue stared at his handy work. “Let’s go nigga, move!” the voice behind him yelled. Blue took one last look at the lifeless corpse before grabbing the Louis Vuitton duffle bag, overflowing with money, and running towards the1985 Cadillac Seville.

Blue sat in the passenger’s seat in a daze. There was no turning back now. He had gone from practicing law on Wall Street to drug trafficking and murder in a matter of days. “What the fuck were you gone do, perform a god dam autopsy? The bastard is dead. Snap out of it!” Fran continued to yell at Blue as he stared ahead. “What’s done is done; remember what we came here for.
